Real, a mental health NGO, developed Haumanu Specialist Clinical Service to be flexible and responsive to need through a fee-for-service model. Haumanu have partnered with TWO to utilise this resource to support local CAMH services and, together, to innovate to reduce wait times.
Haumanu offers specialist intervention for taiohi me ngā whānau who have experienced trauma and mental health needs. Based at Salmond House in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington, the Haumanu team also offer clinical support virtually for those across the mōtu. This hour-long hui is an opportunity to hear about how collaboration and partnership across NGO and Te Whatu Ora services can lead to improved experiences for tāngata whai ora and their whānau.
