International literature suggests the whānau engagement indicator is the first of its kind and offers Aotearoa New Zealand the opportunity to lead the world in continuous improvement related to how services work in partnership with whānau.
The indicator and its associated data visualisation tools will be informed and created by the mental health and addiction sector through dedicated wānanga.
In May, the KPI Programme will facilitate four dedicated sector hui. All Zoom hui are open to anyone from the sector who would like to share their perspectives, knowledge and experiences to help shape the new whānau engagement indicator.
Each hui will explore the same four pātai asked by Whānau Advisors during the KPI Programme’s Super Benchmarking Week:
View the Whānau Advisor’s session via the Resources page of the KPI Programme website.
If you have questions about the development of the whānau engagement indicator data dashboard tools, or are unable to attend one of the sector hui but would like to contribute to this mahi, please contact the KPI Programme team at info@mhakpi.health.nz
