Integrated Guidelines for SPHC Mental Health, Substance Use, Wellbeing Challenges and Their Tamariki

The resources below are provided by Joycelyn Tauevihi (Programme Delivery Manager) and Dr Bronwyn Dunnachie (Principal Advisor) from Whāraurau.

Please find below their presentation on the Revised SPHC Integrated Guidelines, designed to assist families navigating mental health, substance use, and wellbeing challenges while caring for their tamariki. The session focussed on the implementation of the newly revised guidelines and introduce the Model of Care as a practical framework for supporting whānau.

‘Through a client-centred approach, participants will learn how to integrate these guidelines into their practice, creating a more responsive and effective support system for whānau. Whether you’re a healthcare professional, social worker, or community support worker, this session will provide valuable insights and actionable strategies to enhance your work with whānau facing complex challenges.’
